Coastal Cares
Through Coastal Cares, employees have raised money and awareness for breast cancer, autism, low vision, and a number of different health related causes. In the spirit of Coastal Cares, employees go to Mexico on health missions, sponsor benefits for patients who have fallen on hard times, and donate numerous hours in helping people in need. Although the roots of Coastal Cares are planted in the generosity of Gregory Clariday, M.D., Wynn McMullen, M.D., and Duc Tran D.O., the service is purely employee driven. It is the kindness and gratefulness of the employees of Coastal Eye Associates that allows Coastal Cares to make a difference in our community. If you know of someone or a cause that could be served through Coastal Cares, please call 281-282-5107 or email [email protected].
Coastal Cares is an attitude of service carried out by the employees and friends of Coastal Eye Associates.
In giving back to the community which supports Coastal Eye Associates, the employees use the term “Coastal Cares” to say thank you. Eye Stroll for Vision
Coastal doctors, employees and families participated in Eye Stroll for Vision, a family-oriented, noncompetitive walk at the Houston Zoo organized to raise awareness and funds to continue preventing blindness and preserving sight.
Relay For Life
At the Relay For Life event the Coastal Cares team came together with others in our community to honor cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against a disease that has already taken too much. The funds raised truly make a difference in the fight against cancer.
Go Red For Women
Go Red For Women is a passionate, emotional, social initiative designed to empower women to take charge of their heart health created by the American Heart Association. Coastal Eye Associates was proud to be a sponsor for this event.
Crystal Foundation
Dr. Clariday has a deep passion for giving back through his support and participation in medical missions. He currently is the Head of Ophthalmology for The Crystal Foundation, and he and a Coastal Cares team travel semi-annually to Guerrero, Mexico to assist the indigent people of the Copper Canyon region.
