Our full-service optical department, in either our Webster, Pasadena or Houston clinic, offers personal attention from a trained staff that will assist you with your eyewear needs. The optical centers have a wide selection of contacts and frames for men, women, and children. We also carry the latest in designer eyewear, sunglasses, and specialty eyewear. No prescription is too difficult. Our certified opticians are happy to help with any frame or lens problem, as well as answer any questions you may have about your eyewear. Our FREE consultation is offered to all patients, regardless of where the eyewear was purchased. A proper and comfortable fit is our ultimate goal!

With advanced technology comes high-quality material that makes glasses lighter, more comfortable, and enhances your ability to see clearer. We proudly offer Varilux lenses, Crizal Alize®, Transitions, and Polarized sunglass lenses. As a provider of the Varilux® Physio lenses, we can provide you with the most advanced lens on the market today. The Physio uses wavefront technology, developed by the NASA space program, to provide sharper vision, and increase contrast sensitivity by up to 30 percent. Golfers are especially happy with this lens for optimal clarity, depth perception, and dimension. Crizal anti-reflective coatings from Essilor, reduce glare and protect lenses from scratches, smudges, dust, and dirt.

Children’s Eyewear
We offer a complete selection of frames ranging from newborn to teens. We know that children are tough on their glasses, whether they are rough and tumble kids or computer geniuses. That is why we offer Flexon frames. For infants, we offer Miraflex, highly durable frames that have no metal parts to break. For the little kids who want cool glasses, we carry Sponge Bob, Dora the Explorer and Disney.
For your trendy teen, Juicy Couture and Hummer frames are great options. We also carry eye patches (stick-on, cloth over eyeglasses and patch with strap).

Contact Lens
Our optometrists will evaluate and fit patients for contact lenses. Contact lenses are available for nearsightedness, farsightedness, bi-focal, and astigmatism correction. In addition, some contacts can enhance the color of your eye. We offer a wide variety of contact lenses including Acuvue Advance, Acuvue Oasys, Acuvue Advance for Astigmatism, Purevision, Purevision Multifocal, Purevision Toric, Proclear Compatibles, Soflens 66 Toric, Focus Dailies, Focus Night and Day, and O2 Optix.

Sunglasses
Protective and Cool! Scientific studies indicate that spending long hours in the sun without eye protection can damage the eyes and contribute to cataracts, macular degeneration, and growths on the eye, including cancer. Wearing proper sunglasses is the best way to shield your eyes from the damaging effects of UV radiation.
Our sunglass collection features designer brands such as Maui Jim’s, Costa Del Mar, Silhouette and Adidas. We can also convert most of those into prescription sunglasses. Polarized lenses are the premium lens of choice for sunglasses because they minimize reflected glare. Whether driving, boating or snow skiing this is particularly useful and adds safety. Our opticians will be glad to demonstrate the difference between polarized lenses and standard sunglass lenses. You will be amazed at how much better you will see with a polarized product.
